What Happened to Migliukee?

Many of you may know (or not know) that a couple of days ago, there happened to be a new Stardoll store called Migliukee.

However, within a few hours following its release, it completely vanished.

Why it vanished is not EXACTLY known, but as of this moment all evidence shows that Migliukee, (which happens to be a Stardoll member) copied a lady named Kathryn Elyse's drawings and designs. If you visit Kathryn Elyse's blog, called Paper Fashion, you will come to see that the drawings look exactly the same as the ones Migliukee tried to claim as her own. I recall looking through the 'Mood Book' when the Migliukee store was open, and seeing all of the sketches that Kathryn Elyse from Paper Fashion did.

Sad, sad. I also happened to notice that Migliukee's suite is completely drained (empty), and her presentation says the following- "You can hate me, but I am realy sorry. And I'm not proud of my self."

Weirdly enough, she still has a Styling Studio with all of Kathryn Elyse's clothes that she claimed as her own. Check it out soon, I'm not sure how much longer Stardoll will keep it there!

What do you think of this whole Migliukee scandal? Why did she do it? And how come Stardoll didn't know about it or check?!

I'm just dying to know.

Hot Buys Issues

Stardoll needs to get it together.

Seriously.

There's been so many problems (glitches) with what seems to be just their Hot Buys.

About a week ago, we were supposed to be able to buy the green socks in the Evil Panda store in the Starplaza. However, they were nowhere to be found. They were even chosen to be a 'Pick of the Day'. Yet when you clicked on them, you were taken to your dressing closet in the Starplaza with surprise, surprise, no green socks on your doll.

Then, a few days later, they were released in the Fudge store... without the Hot Buys label!

It's all a mystery. I have chosen to wait to buy them until they have the Hot Buys label on them.

BUT WAIT. . . There's more. . .

After this 'green socks' incident, there was another problem! The Hot Buys green and black striped sweater was released not once but TWICE. One of them was for sale for 8 stardollars, and the other for 12. About a day after that, the sweater on sale for 8 stardollars disappeared. Now you can only buy the one on sale for 12 stardollars.

NOW THERE'S EVEN MORE!

Tonight the Hot Buys muffin purse was released. Or, should I say, 'purses'. Again, two of the same Hot Buy product were released. However, this time they are offered at the same price.

Having a duplicate is pretty cool, because if you buy both of them you can sell one of them for a big price in the long run, and still have another.

Well, let's hope Stardoll gets their act together soon!

Unappreciation Segregation: Tyler's To The Left, Please

A few nights ago, a delicate fusion of sugar, spice, everything nice, and whatever creative juices were flowing from my brain lobes at 2 in the mornin' were rather forcefully thrown into the mixing bowl by Iron Chef Ashley and her assistant, Alice the Apple Annihilator. The product? A tastefully snarky letter o' resignation - to be mailed to Tyler, stamped with my return address, and ultimately concerned the (now sugar-coated) future of my partner in crime, Alice.

If some of you plan to travel to numerous blogs in search of Tyler's response to the little beaut above, I - one blogger who is fully aware of the extreme levels of nosiness of some of you stardollians - shall verbally thrust my palm into your noses in effort to prevent senseless clicking. You can search for hours, but trying to find this comment on a blog is like trying to dig up Jesus' sandles in the desert: absolutely pointless. No, I am not doubting the skills of all you gossip search n' rescue teams - the comment simply doesn't exist. You see, Alice and I originally planned to send this message to Tyler via the comment section of his blog, but we clearly underestimated the brain power of Ty the Trickster in doing so; as it turns out, the lil' booger enabled the 'comment moderation' application. So, I improvised, and here it is.
Now that Alice has left the key to her jail cell on Tyler the tyrant's doormat and shouted out a big 'hoorah' for freedom's sake, she has made the all-important decision to grab her very own, sparkly, diamond-studded key from TSC's employee drawer and join the squad!
I could spend hours trying to conjure up the perfect slur of words to express my happiness, but even if I did, my proclamation of joy for Alice's arrival would be an understatement. Alice is, in a word, insane. In two words, insanely amazing. When it comes to her skills as a graphic artist, I prefer to use the latter of the two statements! Alice and I are currently spitballin' ideas for the blog - notes for a new theme, layout, and banner are currently clogging our virtual trashcans - and we cannot and simply will not spill the beans on this one! I will tell you this, though; Alice sent me a banner-related picture earlier today, and it's incomparable amazingness nearly knocked out of my office chair.
Expect the unexpected.

OMG! Shoes! (Free)

I'm pretty sure we're witnessing another mistake by Stardoll folks, just like the DKNY mistake Stardoll made last year, when all the Summer '08 DKNY was free.

The only downside to this event is that the shoes are free only to superstars.

So hurry, hurry before they have a bigger price! :)

Hear ye, hear ye:

The gullible members of our beloved website have been plagued by yet another scam - but please, before you click that satanic little red 'x' in the corner or demand a cup of water from the ol' gossip pump, listen to me.
I - a self-proclaimed stardoll veteran - can honestly say that I have never seen any scam come remotely close to the one that I witnessed today. It is so elaborate, so clever, that I myself was almost duped by the sheer mechanics of the plot alone. The scammer's first move in their devious chess game? A message from one of my very best stardoll pals, Nojarama.

Can't click the picture to enlarge it? Don't fret - I shall happily summarize the plot for those of you who are unable to read the print. The message bluntly informs the potential victim of a seemingly miraculous opportunity that every stardollian dreams about after counting those virtual sheep: the chance to own a jacket from the coveted and oh so exclusive Mary-Kate and Ashley collection. Overwhelmed by excitement and looming suspicion, I copy-and-pasted my way to the website, only to be re-directed to..

An overly-generous gesture presented by the notorious Callie.Stardoll herself; complete with wall-to-wall advertisements, an encouraging "Join now!" sign, and yes - her vomit-inducing signature (being a heinous mix between Tinkerbell and hillbilly, known as "Twinkle, twinkle ya'll") pasted at the end of the article.
Fairly legitimate? Yes.
Believable enough to score a few victims? Without a doubt.
I mean, hey; this hacker almost loaded me onto the boat of deciet, but luckily, the good Lord blessed me with supa' keen observation skills - you call it a curse, I call it my saving grace. I was literally a click away from signing my account over to the hacker, when I noticed something fishy: the button read "send" instead of the familiar "log in". I quickly erased my account information from the devilish white bars and decided to test this potential scam out on a fake account; however, when I attempted to click on that encouraging "Join now!" sign, I was oddly re-directed to TinyPic. Not a single detail that appeared on the so-called legitimate site was clickable, but dragable, which means that somebody actually spent time constructing a false scam out of nothing but pictures.
I gotta' hand it to you, evil genius hacker - that was good.

No, that is not the winning combination for today's Luck O' the Irish lotto card. No, that is not the date on which the fifth installment of Harry Pothead hit the big screen. And no, that is not our beloved Callie's short-lived attempt to count to one hundred.
Before your hair starts a burnin' as a result of extensive staring and impromptu stimulation of brain cells that've been fixed on snooze for summer, I shall crack the ever so cryptic code for ya'll - free of charge! On that day - the seventeenth day, in the sixth month, in the year two thousand (plus eight) - a stardollian suffering from a severe case of gossip deprivation and boredom found salvation. On that day, The Stardoll Chronicles was forcefully thrown into the eclectic mixing bowl of stardoll stimulus - after which, one of our virtual community's many cravings for spice was ultimately satisfied. On that day, this blog was born, happily joining the other hopeful bloggers as a fly on the windshield of stardoll life.
It's been a year since that day. Within the many days (365, to be exact) that separate this date from its twin from year's past, I am proud to commemorate the context of my posts: cat fights, party nights, exclusive sights. Looks like that seemingly clueless girl actually had a clue when naming her blog, eh? No, not really - it just rhymed. Luckily, for that silly little girl and her blog, some stardollians realized the good intentions presented by the two and allowed them to fill the voids of their address bars.
Thank you all - followers, readers, and heck, even the haters - for placing a bet on a rookie horse. That being said, let's do the dang thing; what's a birthday without poppin' some bottles, using kazoo's until massive headaches ensue, and delving into the wonders of icing-packed cake?

They're supposed to be pricey, but oh-so-cute!

I'm thinking the first collection will come out tomorrow, because I saw that banner (see left) on the side of the page.

I clicked on it and was taken to the Starplaza, but sadly there was no 'Miss Sixty' there.

I can't wait for it to come out! I'll post a best dressed list of people wearing it when it comes out, so stay tuned!

Summer Hours Bring Freebie Showers

You best believe my clever adage, hun; taking in account that 'generosity' seldom appears in Callie's vocabulary book, I shall allow a few seconds for ya'll to regain a stable heart rate.. (Insert dramatic pause here) Now that I've played paramedic and effectively prevented cardiac arrest, I shall explain. While I was innocently paroosing the suites of my fellow stardollians, my ever so observant peepers picked up on a reoccurring trend: almost every person I laid eyes on was cloaked in the same ensemble - a mysterious, floral swimsuit accompanied by a floppy sun hat that somehow reminds me of the head-piece to an elephant costume.

After briefly scanning my cranium as well as the starplaza itself in search of this outfit, I resorted to my old ways and grabbed my trusty ol' shovel from the toolshed once again - the verdict? Sweet success. Did I find the outfit? No. Did I find a clever way to cheat the system to retrieve the outfit? Of course! Christmas came early; pop a squat, acquire a pencil and some paper, and follow my lead.

1. Locate your User ID. (Press 'my account' under the picture of your me-doll on the sidebar, and then look directly under 'account settings' to find your ID)

2. Enter www.simple.co.uk/stardoll/?u=
And enter your ID number after the '=' sign.

3. Register. (You can use a fake name or e-mail address if you please - after all, I don't expect anyone to become avid members of this 'Teen Simple' hoopla.)

4. Look in your suite!

R.I.P. Mr. King of Pop

As most of you have heard, yesterday Michael Jackson died in Los Angeles at the meer age of 50.

This event has caused huge dismay and grief around the world.

Today, Friday the 26th of June, an autopsy is planned to determine the cause of such a disaster.

Officials already know that he suffered from cardiac arrest.

One thing's for sure, the world will miss this legend.

So, to commemorate MJ's death, Stardoll has made a club dedicated to him.

His death is huge, because Stardoll has never made a club dedicated to a death.

Red Handed Re-Release: Callie's Conjoured Up Alibi For A Federal Crime

After finding some spare time between hurried nibbles at my mac n' cheese earlier today, I finally managed to log onto my partially-dusty stardoll account; as some of you may have noticed, the number of days under the "Last Seen" category on my page were accumulating at a rather alarming rate - no need to worry, though, I violently vacuumed the dust mites and am officially back in the game! When I logged on to my account after what seemed a decade's time, I was held victim to a heinous crime that appeared in the form of an advertisement. Scene of the crime? Start page. Alleged perpetrator? The stardoll staff. Crime committed? The Starplaza Archive. The sight of such a blatant disregard for the emotions of the many "hotbuy hunters" who endlessly lurk around the starbaazar brought about two very different feelings - admiration and nausea. A single alliteration came to mind:
Clap clap, Callie.
Yessiree! You see, I am a strong believer of giving credit when it's due, and I just so happen to think that the creation of this store is an ingenius crime. When Callie and Co. introduce cherished pixels to the starplaza for a second time, it usually evokes a universal reaction among us stardoll veterans: anger. The act of re-release is without a doubt recycling at its worst; c'mon, stardoll, nothing stings worse than walking by a mannequin that's sportin' the same once-rare shirt as you! So, assuming that a few crazed collectors have grown tired of the welts and have proceeded to complain about this little dilemma via the ever so helpful "Contact us" section, the stardoll staff is probably well-aware of the chaos that their daring deeds of re-release tend to bring about. This realization probably occurred gradually due to the sheer size of the Head Hauncho's brain (in addition to other natural causes), but it did occur, nonetheless! In effort to put an end to steady flow of messages consisting of constant mockery and ridicule, the staff figured that they would have to do something to soften the harsh reality of re-release. What alibi was formed after hours filled with trips to the candy machine and getting some hardcore thinking headaches, you ask? The Starplaza Archive. This way, the staff could re-release countless articles of clothing as they please - minus the mockery for doing so - and look ever so innocent all the while by setting it up in such a way to suggest that they are merely reminiscing on clothes of month's past. Committing the crime without doing the time. Pretty dang brilliant, eh?

Only this time (unlike last year where participants didn't log-in period), participants will log-in but not buy anything from the Starplaza. It's mainly geared toward non-superstars, but superstars (of course) can participate.

What is all the fuss about you ask?

Non-superstars are mad because they THINK paying for a website is stupid.

I think this is hilarious!

Superstars pay for non-superstars to play on Stardoll!

Stardoll gets their money from superstar memberships, and that money pays for their servers, and the stuff they talk about below...

And non-superstars don't have to pay anything. Not a cent.

Why are they complaining to Stardoll? They're lucky Stardoll let's them play for free and gives them privileges! Of course Stardoll is going to award its paying members with better things! Duh!

Without superstars, there would be no Stardoll! Who would pay to run the site, huh?

Nothing's free in this day and age.

I just want you to think. Think about this "hosh posh" before you participate in the strike.

I was curious; how many blogs have managed to "obtain ideas" from us, The Stardoll Chronicles?

I went researching. I don't mind announcing the names and web addresses of the blogs, because they're not exactly copying us.

Stardoll Chronicles- located @ stardollchronicles.com. It is obvious that the name was adapted from us (the blog began this last March), but other than that there's nothing really similar. She has her own banner, and doesn't copy our posts. It's cool, check it out!

Pshh, This Time I'm Waiting!

The new Philosophy Real Brand is out in the Plaza!

The colors are lovely, but the designs are debatable. They're kind of messy. The dress ends are lopsided, and the tops are too.

They're just all over the place, you know?

However, this doesn't mean I'm personally not buying it. It may be messy but one day it probably will be rare. Just like last season, at the end of this season Stardoll will most likely put all the items up for sale. That's when I'll buy everything so one day I can sell them for big stardollars. I would recommend you do this too, if you're a superstar. One day it will most likely be as rare and pricey as the DKNY 2nd season! :)

Also- make sure you guys keep an eye out for a post about the Stardoll Chronicle Awards we will be hosting! It's going to be fab!

Very random indeed! I'm still trying to figure out what all these 'prints' are for. Anyone have any clue?!

And OMG, I love this top! Stardoll NEVER makes clothes like this! I want more witty expressions on tees!

Haha, get it? Like carrots help you see better?! I love it!

And another thing, I'm sure you guys have seen the DIY clothing pieces, which look very similar to what you can find in my trashcan.

EWW. Why would we want that crap? It's horrendous! Funny thing is Stardoll calls the shop 'DIY BOUTIQUE' I have not even seen one user on Stardoll sporting these items.

SEVEN words to Stardoll: WE DON'T WANT TRASH, WE WANT COUTURE!

Da-Da-Dolly!

I can now pretty much tell that the whole 'Dolly Prom' phase has ended because now all that's being released in the Plaza is random crap.

So, I wanted to give an overview of the good, the bad, and the ugliest items from this theme.

-->The Hot Buys dress is simply stunning! It's not super girly girl like most of the items from the Dolly theme are.

-->I love the simple black and white top with the black little bow on top. You can't EVER go wrong wth black and white!

-->I love the pink and white polka dot dress because it reminds me that summer is on its way! :)

-->That pink dress is just flat out blech! It basically screams "Don't Buy Me!"

-->Ummm, hello! Why the heck would I want a big fat braid on the side of my head when I already have one?!

--> One word about the gloves: re-released.

-->That cardigan, with the buttons... EWW! :P

--> The skirt is just too much... too much 'POOF'

--> That dress is the worst out of the bunch. The sleeves are just :O!

A Big 'What Up' To Label Whores

After glancing at the somewhat heart-wrenching photograph above, about 95% of the people reading this post at the moment are probably thinking something along the lines of:
This bitch be crazy!
However, even though the price tag is pretty dang hard to ignore, at least try to focus your attention on the prices of the individual items on that list.. and the numbers marked in red. As any smart shopper knows, that heavenly color in particular is used to symbolize one of the key words mentioned in the ever popular 'Dictionary of a Shoppaholic': bargain!
You see, when the ever so stylish yet ridiculously expensive Philosophy clothing line made its grand debut in the starplaza, I made a pact with myself to resist temptation by refusing to purchase a single pixel from that boutique. Why, you ask? It's really quite simple: there are times for living in the moment, and there are times for keeping your desires close, but your sensible shoppin' skills even closer. When I was a mere click away from buying every pair of stilettos from that shop months ago, I simply clicked 'cancel' - yes, it's hard to do, but trust me - when you see those beautiful red letters and proceed to purchase the entire clothing line for half price, you'll come to find that your daring resistance pays off big time.. literally!
Shoppin' Tips & Tricks: Road Map To Bargains
Rule #1: Don't buy anything from a Real Brand when it first comes out! Your rebellious actions could possibly encourage the stardoll staff to lower the prices of a few items in order to attract business - you are guaranteed to save money in the end.

Today, April 22nd, is the day we honor our planet Earth by turning off our lights, using reusable bags when we grocery shop (although my mom has already not done that :P), etc.

Stardoll didn't think celebrating Earth Day was necessary, I assume it's because they already celebrated Earth Hour. But still, an hour and a day is a BIG difference.

The very day that Ms. McConnell - my dreadful English teacher - informed my class about the impending doom that would shadow our lives for six weeks, I had the glorious stardoll.com blocked from my laptop. Why, you ask? For me, temptation appears as the cartoon-like button with the 'DO NOT TOUCH' sign draped above it - even though you convince yourself not to push that shiny red button, you just can't resist and end up being at fault for some seriously drastic tragedy. In this case, the red button was our beloved website with the tragedy being.. a big fat "F" stamped on my term paper! But now that I have typed, read (and re-read), revised, and printed 12 pages of pure agony, I am more than ready to catch up on all of the (hopefully) juicy pickles that stardollians have managed to get themselves into during my absence.. luckily for you, I will most definitely report most of my findings on TSC!
Before I catch some heavily-needed Zzz's, I would like to say two little words:

These words are addressed to TSC's loyal readers - you know who you are. I would like to truly thank you for supporting TSC during gossip droughts, absences, and busy schedules; I think I speak for the entire staff here at The Stardoll Chronicles when I say that we would be nothing without you. I know I left you without any explanation, and I apologize - looking back at it now, I wish I would've told somebody where the heck I was going! Stardoll Updates: Week of April 12-19

Hey guys! Very sorry for the lack of posts... Bryannah went on vacation and Ashley hasn't been on Stardoll for awhile. As for me, I'm swimming and doing schoolwork. Fun, right?

Well, I've decided to start a new feature on TSC. It's simply called 'Stardoll Updates', and it's published once a week. Basically it covers what's new and happening on Stardoll over the past week. Sounds cool, eh? So here is the first edition, the week of April 12-19!

The Butterfly Effect: This week's 'theme' is known as The Butterfly Effect. The clothes are pretty cute, but the theme is pretty random. The Stardoll Insiders claim that Stardoll got the idea from a movie. It's so shocking that Stardoll copied someone elses' work! (Just kidding, they tend to like to copy a lot). So, which was your favorite 'Butterfly' clothing item released in the Starplaza? (Your favorite might not be on here, but just pick the best :)

Kasia Leaves Perez: That's right! I was so shocked to read the extremely thoughtful postshe wrote to Dan and the Perez readers. I am curious to know why she left, she was such a great addition to the blog! I am happy to assure you guys though that she has not left Stardoll. I repeat, she has not left Stardoll. I know she will be greatly missed by all Perez readers!3rd Collection of LE Hits the Starplaza... HARD!: LE IS back and better than ever! This collection showed us all that spring is definitely in the air. The cute floral prints made the collection full of 'life', unlike the very first winter collection which was filled with blacks, dark purples and dark pinks. TSC Almost Has 200 Followers!: Yay! I can't believe we're 2 away from 200. Wow. Wasn't it just a day ago when I became a journalist and there were 67 followers?! I am amazed. All I can say is thank you for you guys' support, it means a lot to Ashley, Bryannah and I! Oh- 200th follower gets superstar gift(s) from me! :)

Okay, so we've all seen what next month's Hot Buys are, and I have to say they are really nice. If by chance you haven't seen them, here they are: I mean, these are fabulous, but you want to know what's even MORE fabulous?! The Spring '09 Hot Buys altogether! My Medoll basically died when she layed eyes on these beauts, and I have to mention that I almost did too. Every piece is spectacular in its own way, except maybe for the bra pendant shaped necklace. I was a little... confused that Stardoll decided to make that. But, all in all, it's great, VERY Springish! I guarantee you that if you visit my suite once all of these items are released, I'll have every single one of them! :-) My top five favorite items are: What are yours? Imagine to my surprise that after barely logging onto my Stardoll account for the precious amount of 2 days, already a collection of superb, stylishly most wanted(and waited)'s pieces have been released grandly at our home away from home, the StarPlaza.

Also, while we are busy fidgeting with our MeDoll's make-up over and over again, or trying to become a legendary someone on Stardoll, or designing new revolutionary magazines, we have forgotten something very, very essential.

I am OH SO SAD to report that the AMAZING, SPECTACULAR dodence_bt is gone... :'(

Haha, for any of you who fell for that and believed that I am sad he left, please read not the last post but the one before that.

Anyway, it's true! I even checked for myself! Here's some proof in case some of you don't believe me:

His blog, Mario's Designs, is gone. And funny thing is, he just released his so called Gucci Spring Collection... I don't know how some of you call his work 'fabulous', because obviously he's just making the EXACT same thing but on a computer. Think about it. Not in any way is that original.

Oh gosh, I'm just BEYOND glad Mario is GONE. Finally! However, I doubt he is gone from Stardoll completely, I bet he has another account where he added only his close friends. Ugh, he screwed his friends over, and basically from what I've seen used them to gain popularity. In what? Oh yeah, a fashion site. Nice move, buddy.

The Claws Are Most Definitely Out!

So here I am, making my way to one of my favorite blogs, Gossip-Stardoll. "Oh look! Boy oh boy, there's a new post!" I say to myself. I read the post. The post describes how Arna-rut is over the whole 'Being judged over the Internet crap'. I agree with her philosophy over all the 'being judged over the Internet crap', so I comment saying: 'Whoop, Whoop! Go Arna! (: I totally agree.' I leave the blog and go on my way. So I revisit the blog about 2 or 3 hours later. I see that there's 125 comments under Arna's post! So I'm like 'What the heck?' I click to see what's going on. Little did I know that I was awaiting reading a big, nasty duel between Arna and Angeliiicaaa__. They basically call each other some of the meanest things in the book. I really don't see why they even bother writing back and forth, because it's basically useless. I am FOR SURE not taking sides here. After a while of their bogus droning on and on about one another being fat, ugly heroin addicts or whatever, dodence_bt and Mik-ma enter the whole scene. This is when it gets interesting. Mario (dodence_bt) basically has a hissy fit because he doesn't like that Arna is getting involved in fights, (Eh Em, Mario- Why do you even care?) especially with one of his other best friends (Angelica). So he tells her he hates her. And he makes it loud and very, very, VERY clear.

Then he feels like he should rebel against Arna so he decides to share some of his and their secrets. Now this comment from Mario shocked me the most. And Mario, you should know by now that you can't control what people do, especially over the Internet :)

At first I couldn't say anything, even wow! To all the people involved in the cat fight: Stop. Is it REALLY worth it?

To all the people wanting to comment in the comments section of where the cat fight is taking place: Don't. What will it do for you as a person? Think about that.

News Flash!: Stardoll Releases the Highly Anticipated Antidote Collection

The whole collection screams amazing. In fact, it is! It attracts the middle-class superstar, unlike the Limited Edition brand, which attracts the upper-class superstar. The items are a bit pricey, however. If you've visited the shop in the Starplaza, you might have noticed that some of the cheapest items are gone (arm warmers and a denim so called 'scarf') because of their low price of 10 stardollars per item. I was one of the fortunate ones to come across the collection earlier today, but only because I am *cough, cough* sick. However, most of the collection is still present because of the amount of items Stardoll released per clothing piece (about 1,000 to 2,000). You'll also come to see that the oh-so-cute 'Ellie Top' has left the shop. I personally believe it left so fast because it is the cutest of the lot. (Who couldn't resist a cute little elephant?)

The following are some of my personal picks of the Antidote First Edition Collection:

Best Item: Ellie Top, Best Piece of Furniture: Antidote Moving Sign, Weirdest Item: Sock hangar, Ugliest Item: Baggy Jeans, Most Boring Items: Corset and Black dress, and Best Accessory: Blue Gladiator Sandals.

A Tale of Brilliant Mockery: TFD's Latest Surprise

As I was skimming through a few Stardoll blogs, I came across an interesting post written by Kasia on Perez. It read that the well-known TheFemaleDog has just released a brand spankin' new creation! It's called 'Dog Magazine', and it basically summarizes all of the latest Stardoll gossip. As all of TFD's creations, it is rather mean.But in a way it is comical. And the graphics- spectacular for the type of magazine she wants people to portray. I mean, for using the ever so simple Paint, the graphics are good! I believe she also created a perfect example of what a MAGAZINE should look like: more graphics, less writing! Style Magazine has GREAT graphics, but too much writing! Seriously, who ever reads all that tiny font?! Anyway, if you are mentioned or one day mentioned in 'The Dog Magazine' do not get offended. It's all crap anyway, so don't waste your time crying over it.

Over this past week, the Gods living in that virtual heaven in the sky generously placed stardoll magazines back on the road to recovery. How did they manage to do such a thing, you ask? By forcing the Holy Spirit to do its 'thang, of course - namely by entering the bodies of Linda (Star_Awards) and Mario (Dodence_bt), and gettin' its divine intervention on! Just as the Sacred Scroll predicted, Linda and Mario released two fantastic first-issues of..

It would only make sense to kick the pig in the rump by displaying the fabulous covers, eh?

When you look at the two covers side-by-side, you cannot help but envy the talents of the graphic-wizards that worked to create them. Just leave it to Mario to grace the cover with such a drop-dead-gorgeous ensemble and a beautiful covergirl (BeverlyHillsHei) , and you can count on Linda to think outside-the-box and choose DanPuffs as "the first guy to ever rock the cover of a SD magazine"! What I love about both of the covers is plain n' simple: they aren't cluttered! In my opinion, putting an endless list of article-names on the cover of a magazine is trashy, not classy! For your delight, I have selected a few of my favorite pictures from both magazines - be prepared to feast your eyes upon true virtual beauty!

That about wraps up my review, folks! If you happen to have some time on your hands, I would advise that you check out these two uber lovely magazines and get caught up on stardoll life & the latest trends- I can almost guarantee that you will not regret it!

Scammers. Hackers. 40-year-old men.

The revolutionary world of Stardoll has really hit its peak today.

What once used to be an innocent dress-up site for girls(and now, guys) who have an addiction to the trendy, in-vogue fashion empire, has turned into a virtual, behind-the-runway-crazy world.

Many of you have probably heard the tragic event on emorox4eva, otherwise known as Jenna, aka the owner of the notoriously famed HotBuys_Bazaar club on Stardoll. With the likes of more then 400 members in her club and the swank, sought-after rares such as the classic old DKNY and the MKA desires, Jenna was a primary target for those hopeless, I'm-gonna-grow-up-to-work-at-McDonalds-flanked scammers and hackers.

Recently, Jenna's prized account was hacked and most of her valuable posessions were all sold for 2 SD in her bazaar.

Rumours are swamping all over Stardoll blogs & sites.

Some of the people of Stardoll have a thing or two to say about klifford.tiamo, who some believe have hacked Jenna.

Jenna has stated that she did not give out her password, email or any other personal information to anyone on Stardoll at all.

The question is, how did the hacker obtain her in-chambered password?

Of course, this where Stardoll's first infamous gang comes along.

You know them as the Stardoll Italian Mafia.

Definition?

A group of people on Stardoll who claim to be from the beautiful country of Italy, whose main goal is to obtain as much information about you, and then attempt to hack your account by using the knowledge they know about you.

First deadly sign?

They send you a sweet'n'simple friend request, usually saying the things we already know about our selves, such as,

"You're so stylish! Plz be my friend!" or the over-used "Your doll is pretty be my friend" or something the category of that.

You know what to do in this case. D-E-N-Y, anyone?

If you did accidently hit the Accept button(admit, we all know you've done it once or twice), then this could get lead to an extremely, dangerous situation that will be making your Frederik Fekkai-dosed hair go crazy.

Whatever you do, do not talk to any of them.

Cases like this require a professional... and unfortunely for us, there's no pro to help us so we got to the job our self.

The Mafia people are clever and have scandalous tricks up their sleeves on getting all the juicy deets on you.

They will act like your BFF to gain all the 411 they need to know about you.

They will use whatever they know to try and get your password.

And once they know, they know.

To be on the stylishly-safe side, if you get friend requests that look supiciously suspicious, deny them.

Visit their suite before denying or accepting; you'll never know who is hiding behind the glass.

Of course, there is a chance that maybe one of your FRIENDS is part of this elite Mafia group.

If you've got tons of people on your friends list that you hardly talk too, count the below on your to-do list.

This morning when I checked my inbox I recieved a very sketchy message.

If you've got unusual amounts of Stardoll luxury rares or own popular clubs on Stardoll,

I suggest you lock up your account and throw away the key.

The Stardoll Italian Mafia has officialy made their first move.

And who knows who and when the next target will be?

What makes me a little bit sad is how the once ordinary-empire of Stardoll is changing into something more dramatic, where catfights lurk every corner, the scammers and hackers are always watching in us the dark, and the much gossiped topic about Stardoll's "elite".

Stardoll's not so innocent any more, isn't it?

The Truth Behind Tyler's Tricks?

For the past few weeks, nearly all of the famed stardoll socialites have been buzzin' about the upcoming release of TylerIsBomb's newest project - this time, Tyler hoped to share some of his fashion 'tips and tricks' with the members of our beloved website. For quite a while now, Tyler has been feverishly working on his addition to the era of 'comeback magazines'.. or so he says, anyway. Truth be told, the brains behind the entire operation belong in the heads of two lovely ladies: Alice (Hunnigall) and Ruxandra (boowow_1998).

Straight from Skype: Alice & Ruxandra's Plea

About a month ago, Tyler first approached Alice on Skype and proceeded to ask her to make graphics for his project. At first she declined the offer, but before long the relentless Tyler and his ultimate powers of persuasion eventually managed to get Alice to agree. Although Alice accepted the offer thinking it would be a relatively easy project, she soon discovered that it would turn out to be the complete opposite. When she made her first spoiler it was rejected by the obnoxious Tyler, who apparently said that "it looked too much like his blog banner" and wanted Alice to change "the shirt, background color, font style, color and style of pants, the size of his me-doll (to make it bigger, of course), and to re-center the text." I guess that about sums it up to, I don't know.. everything?

Keeping Tyler's harsh critism in mind, Alice and Ruxandra strived to perfect the spoiler - it took the team 2 days to complete. All the while, the girls stayed up until 4 A.M, with no recognition or praise from Tyler. At some point, Tyler granted Ruxandra the title of 'creative director' for the project, but strangely kept her out of team meetings - he told her that she "confused" him, he pushed her to be "serious" about her work, he rejected every image she sent to him, and eventually ignored her altogether. Before long, Alice and Ruxandra hung up their coats and quit. According to Alice, he didn't care about Ruxxy's departure but stressed over Alice's decision to leave the project. Throughout their days on TTT's staff, words such as 'please', 'thank you', or 'great job' failed to leave Tyler's mouth - in fact, that mouth of his seemed to be stuffed with nothing but complaints and demands.

It's been over a week, I know.

But it seems that everyone is busy around this time of year.

Spring sports just began- which means I have swim practice Monday through Friday 7-9 PM.

Can you believe it?

Which also means the lack of posts will most likely continue. Ashley must be busy too, because I haven't heard from her in awhile.

HOWEVER, this is definitely NOT permanent. We will for sure find time to post, it just won't be as often! Hope you dedicated readers understand, and make sure to keep staying tuned!

Hi everyone! I am The Stardoll Chronicle's FIRST Guest Writer! It is like really an honor! In this article I am going to be talking about Stardoll Fashion. Who rocked it and who didn't.

Oh yeah, I'm Madeline! My Stardoll username is VballGirlie2695. I'm from the USA and you probably don't want me going down into detail... So I will begin!

There are alot of trends on Stardoll. Using minishop items, the 3 stacked blonde headbands, and the HotBuys Bow as black bangs. Below is an example of each trend...

BlueGreen86 is wearing the minishop flowers, fakeshake3 is wearing the blonde headbands, and Tyrall, Melissa54321, and GodlyGirl10 are wearing the black Bangs/Bow.

I had trouble finding the black bangs trend, so I guess not many people are wearing it anymore. I got the pictures off of PerezHiltonofStardoll.blogspot.com, so credit to them! So now it's up to you to vote. Which trend was your favorite? The minishop items, the Blonde headbands, or the Black bangs? It's up to you! Vote in the comments section of this post!

So while I was searching for these items, I just wanted to point out something I saw...The picture is annoucing the winner who gets to be on the cover of the Stardoll magazine with High School Musical 3 stars. It says in the picture is quitegirl62 and Gabriella Montez. However, in the picture it's quitegirl62 and Zac Efron. Is this just another miss hap by Stardoll?

I also wanted to post 3 outfits that stood out to me while I was searching around for some Stardoll trends...

First we have UndaMyUmbrellla with the new HotBuys Cheetah Print Cardigan, then Springate wearing a flowing red gown created by 3 separate red gowns, and finally is Psychotic-Freak. Which is your favorite? UndaMyUmbrellla, Springate, or Psychotic-Freak? Vote!

What does this miraculous magnifying glass symbolize, you ask? The sudden arrival of this heavenly icon indicates the notions that Callie and Co. do, in fact, have brain function, the world of inconvenience just might come to an end, and that stardollians are now able to search for specific items in the always-hectic starbaazar!

As of today, every stardollian will have the option of enjoying the virtual equivalent of a personal assitant - one who is willing n' ready to meet your every desire.. minus the complaints and hassles of reality! Revelations From The Sacred Scroll

After viewing the ever so clever poll question above, which was created by the brilliant minds down at Perez Hilton of Stardoll, I truly couldn't believe what my eyeballs were forcing through my thoughts. I think it would be pretty accurate to say that stardoll magazines have experienced a bit of a 'slump' over the past few months, but I would've never thought that stardollians would compare the once-cherished pixels to 'shit!' Unfortunately, the poll is completely accurate, and clearly speaks for itself - what message is it trying to tell the public, you ask? As depressing as it may be, this poll is calling attention to the fact that stardoll magazines are on the verge of becoming items of the past. However, in order to prevent that from happening, the stardoll Gods have called for a divine intervention of sorts- within this oh so special mission, the Gods have selected few members to restore the legacy of stardoll magazines. Because I happen to be homies with one of these stellar stardoll Gods, I was entitled to glimpse at the Sacred Scroll.. the fate of stardoll magazines rests in the virtual hands of Alice (Hunnigall), Hana (Haylin295), Linda (Star_Awards), and Jennifer (Fashiontasia01/Jen-ARRIVES)!

From the looks of it, almost all of these magazines are set to grace our eyes sometime in March. Excited, much?

Love Is Definitely In The Air!

Oh yes everyone- it's that time of year again! When 'I Love Yous' fill the air, when little youngsters pass out petite valentine cards to their class, and when that guy (or girl) you've been dreaming about finally asks you on a date.

AND, apparently when Stardoll goes ballistic releasing pink, red, and white items. Oh yes! I know most of you have seen the Starplaza, and boy has it been filled! Filled with love of course, but most prominently-CLOTHES!

As Ashley talked about in one of her recent posts (two below this one), Stardoll decided to put these Valentine's Day clothes in their own special spot- The Little Pink Shop!

Stardoll also claims on the front page broadcast that there will be new Valentine clothing items released everyday (now there's a commitment) leading up to Valentine's Day.Don't you wish they did this more often?!

And tonight, along with some other Valentine's Day clothes, the highly anticipated Limited Edition collection was released. That's right! You heard me LOUD and CLEAR.

The collection is oh so beautiful... I just wish the dresses weren't sold out before I got to go there.

Some advice to superstars: Buy whatever you can and afford! I made the mistake last season by not buying anything because of the expense. Now, I could probably get DOUBLE what I would have paid for it! Even if you only buy the 25 stardollar heart sunglasses, just think-they will most likely be uber rare someday! I can see it now- an 800 stardollar price tag!Ah! The beauty of selling an 800 stardollar item! :)

Here's an LE outfit created and bought by moi! Well, after all that news, I would like to share with you some ideas for YOUR Valentine's Day outfit... Remember: These are ideas. Get creative and make your own outfit. Don't Copy!

First, we have my sister, shansd17. You may recognize her from the last 'Who Wore It Best' Hotbuys post. Anyway, even though she is my sister, I just HAD to show you guys her outfit.

It's simply unique. It's amazingly amazing. Don't you agree?!

Go by her suite and dissect her dress-she used so many items!

And not to mention her suite is perfect for Valentine's Day!

Next, we have rubbiny and I. These outfits are what I like to call 'edgy' for Valentine's Day. And how do you make a Valentine's Day outfit 'edgy' you ask? Add a touches of black of course!

We also had to feature a user wearing LE items! It's simple, which is very nice. I love how she (Leila-Lilo) dyed her Medoll's hair pink- so very funky and perfect for Valentine's Day!

Okay, so we saw an outfit with the perfect use of LE items. But then again, why buy them when you can design them? Mmmm Hmmm... Check out Pauliespoo's Medolls' outfit.

Did your jaw just drop to the floor?! Mine sure did!

She basically created clothing items that look EXACTLY like the newly released LE!

The Hotness Streak Ends.. And Continues!

Update
Although there is a concrete definition for that one little word, you never know what surprise it may bring when it leaves Callie's mouth - you either end up with something that urges you to kiss the staff's pimply feet, or it leaves you wanting to stab Callie's eyeballs with a spork. Today, the stardoll staff has achieved the impossible, folks: they have managed to receive both a yay and a nay for two very important updates.. all in one day! To start things off on a happy note, I shall begin this post with the update that has received a yay from many people..

The New Closet System!
From the day that stardoll released the storage box, I absolutely despised its layout - every time I opened that box to retrieve an item, I was subject to viewing a rainbow fireworks show as punishment for having too many items in one row. It was cool at first but believe me, honey, it really took a toll on the ol' eyeballs! The fireworks show is over, at last.. and it has been replaced with an ever so clever closet system! This time, Callie and pals put some elbow-grease into it, and it definitely shows!

No good creation would be perfect without its flaws, right? In any other case, that sentence would make so sense whatsoever - however, I am glad that this closet allows me to own 76 copies of my favorite pair of shoes!

The Totally Bonkers Broadcasting System!
Looks can be deceiving. I'm sure you've all heard that phrase at least once in your lives, and when I discovered the new broadcasting system, it finally made sense: the new system is undeniably adorable from the outside, but when you attempt to broadcast to the members of our beloved website you want to shoot Callie in the toe! The new system eliminates our God-given right to speak our minds by forcing us to use pre-made words.. courtesty of no one other then the stardoll staff! Hopefully, the staff will realize the error of their ways!

Preppy N' Pink, Much?

Today, while I embarked on my annual trip to the heavenly starplaza, my eyes were graced with the sight of a new (and rather preppy) shop. I, acting like a little kid who's thinking about rich n' creamy chocolate cake, am excited as ever to visit the wonders that this little pink shop will hopefully hold! After a few effortless clicks, I arrive at my destination, only to see..

Sugar, spice, and everything nice!
No, I'm not talking about the recipe needed to make the Powerpuff Girls - I just so happen to be describing the uber preppy little boutique that stardoll has been generous enough to dazzle us with! Although I'd hate to trash talk a store filled with so much goodness, the clothes aren't exactly the hottest thing since popcorn in my book, and the only things in the shop that managed to dazzle my vision were the supply of Valentine plush dolls and the polka-dotted wallpaper. Without further ado, I am ever so proud to present Callie and Co. with a shiny gold star for effort!

DKNY Spring '09: Sitting Pretty In The City!

Although I do have a vast love for the pink n' sparkly text that has been sitting in the DKNY construction site for the last few months, I totally prefer having DKNY's beautiful Spring collection occupy the space instead! Yes, that's right - the highly anticipated Spring collection is on sale now!

Many stardollians crossed their chubby little fingers prior to this collection's release, hoping that it would somehow help DKNY rebuild its damaged reputation in our virtual world. After viewing the pixels that are currently assembled in the DKNY boutique, I am super glad to say that all of those finger cramps paid off! From the spotted bathing suit to the many over-sized belts, the new collection is a huge success. In comparison to collections from past seasons, Spring takes the gold trophy, for sure! Although the blue n' gold color combination reminds me of a high school pep-rally, I can assure you that the clothing does not appear on any of the students in my school - in fact, it probably belongs in the closet of every fashionista across the world! As always, the stardoll staff deserves yet another pat on the head.. good golly, they're on a roll! Hopefully, this uber rare 'hotness streak' will continue, eh?

So as mentioned in the invitation, the dress code is formal. So do not show up in jeans and a t-shirt! If you are looking toward making the best dressed list, here are some of my own personal tips:

-Layer your clothes! The more layers, the better! But don't go too overboard, or your creation might just end up looking like a trainwreck! :O As Dan (DanPuff) said, layering should be kept subtle.

-Non-superstars: If you don't have any formal clothes, don't panic. Create your own look using what you have, and make it as formal looking as possible.

-Get creative! Use Minishop items! But don't overdo it. Make the outfit simple and classy.

-I personally advise you, if you own it, NOT to use the Vampire tube dress as the bottom of your outfit.

I only say this because I noticed that many others include it in their creations, and you want to be original to get the judge's attention, right? Don't get me wrong, Arna looks fabulous, I just wanted to show you guys what the tube dress looks like!

Super Stylin' Studio: Thank You, Lord!

Whenever Callie and Co. creates something that they consider to be the 'bombdiggity', they advertise it as much as they possibly can on stardoll's beloved homepage, right? Well, if I'm not mistaken, it looks like the stardoll staff is currently searching for that ever so cherished pat on the head once again, folks.. this time, with the creation of:
The Styling Studio
I think we can all agree on the fact that Callie and friends have created some.. doozies in the past, but I am happy to report that the invention of the 'Styling Studio' is far from being classified in that dreadful category! In my opinion, it is probably the most stellar creation presented to the public in a long while. Although it has only been available to stardollians for a few days, it has already received high rankings from all of its many users - including me! Why is this application so special, you ask? Well, it could have something to do with the fact that it only allows you to choose from a mere fraction of the clothes in your closet, thus challenging stardoll's fashionistas to create fashion masterpieces with the clothing they are given. Then again, it might've achieved instant popularity because every person - superstars and non-superstars alike - have a chance to experience the thrill that Callie and pals get to experience on a daily basis! (When they're not too lazy to release new celebrity-dolls, that is) Although those two reasons are totally tubular, nothing can beat having the opprotunity to dress-up other members in their own 'Styling Studio' creations! I am proud to say that I've styled some of stardoll's well-known fashionistas, such as: Fakeshake3, Angeliiicaaa__, and Mimi_Mami!

It is time.
Those three demonic words effortlessly pasted above probably act as pure salvation, eh? When I woke from my pleasant slumber on this ultra fine day, I figured that it was time to terminate the endless waiting that you've had to endure.. well, for the past week or so, that is. Just call me Jesus, because within this post, the prayers of those lovely readers hoping to leave their individual marks on this blog will be answered! Yes, it is time to cast your votes to select the soon-to-be newest edition to TSC's staff! After careful consideration and many works of brain-power at its best, the lovely Hayley and I have decided to do things a little bit differently than we originally planned. I feel like I’ve seen every single article on these Hot Buys. Most likely, I have. Really. I don’t think this is my favorite collection of HotBuys. Personally, I like the December 2008. You know, the ones that were all released in Fallen Angel and Evil Panda? The sequin skirt was my favorite: ). Anyway, back to my article.
I never check the HotBuys page, since I always see the image on every blog I read. But when I saw this one, I was a bit excited. First, all of the items (except the earrings) were the color of the ipod I got for christmas! I know, off topic. But the second reason was that I think Stardoll team members finally cracked open a book of Graphic Desiging for Dummies! I mean, every piece, whether you like it or not, has been crafted beautifully. Here are my thoughts:

1. Hot Buys Earrings (Splendid)
Although it doesn’t go with the theme, they are beautiful. But they look like they should’ve been released a while ago with the Autumn Jewels collection.
2. Hot Buys Jacket (Bisou)
Whoa! Stardoll Team! Who taught you what was cute? I feel like this piece could be worn with anything. From the Jessica pants, to the Stella McCartney New Year Dress.
3. Hot Buys Skirt (Bisou)
I do love the idea of the skirt, but the version Stardoll made came out with a weird shape. But I love the polka dots : )
4. Hot Buys Dress (Voile)
I know that this was supposed to be a Herve Leger imitation, but it looks like when street vendors in New York try to copy Dooney & Bourke bags- they look FAKE.
5. Hot Buys Pants (Evil Panda)
These have been released, and I bought them. But I don’t really like the bunching at the bottom; it makes it hard to wear them under boots. I love the deep purple color though.
6. Hot Buys Shoes (Rio)
I don’t really love these; but I’ll end up buying them. They look like an imitation of the gold shoes the Voile released not a long time ago.
7. Hot Buys Shirt (Pretty In Pink)
This shirt is cute, but it’s more for the 7-13 year-olds that use Stardoll, not the “high fashion” types.
8. Hot Buys Earmuffs (Pretty In Pink)
I like these, but I don’t know about buying them. I have earmuffs, and I don’t really wear them. I don’t really care for gloves and earmuffs on Stardoll.
9. Hot Buys Down Jacket (Pretty In Pink)
I think this is really cute, and you could dress it up or down in many ways. I’m not sure why the arms are all misshapen though; I don’t think it makes the coat look puffy, just stupid.
10. Hot Buys Bag (Pretty In Pink)
This is my FAVORITE. I feel like I want to buy 6 of them. It looks like a bag that anyone from Miley Cyrus to Agyness Deyn could carry and still look ah-mayzin!

Contestant #3
The Hot buys this month turned out to be pretty cute (except for the fact that some of them look like they’re made out of rubber.) I personally love the bag, which looks like something a famous designer might have made, that costs all the money you’d imagine. I also love the dress - Stardoll made a great copy of it! But if you actually look at the real dress, you’d see sequins, not rubber material. Also, you would notice that it costs $2,800.00… ouch! The jacket looks like the jacket that Disney Channel’s Wizards Of Waverly Place had used… It’s more boyish, apart for the fact that it’s pink. But I really don’t like the pants: Wet leggings, anyone?! Also, the shirt looks like something out of those country songs, where everybody wears large skirts and funny hats, no? Moving on to an optimistic point, the earrings just scream, ‘FABULOUS!’ to me. So does the jacket, which is super cute. That skirt can be used as a top and skirt: I wonder what our creative users will wear them as? Those shoes.. they remind me of Greek shoes. And last but not least: those earmuffs. I wouldn’t wear them but they still remain cute!

Miss/Mr. TSC '09- Mini Contest #1

Well hello there everyone! This is the post I'm pretty much sure you've ALL been waiting for.

If you have no idea what I am talking about, please read the post below, called 'Miss or Mr. TSC '09. Okay, if you have not followed the directions in that post yet, please do so now.

Ready for your very first task?! I know I am! ;)

[REMEMBER]: The contest will not proceed if we do not have at least 50 entrants. Please, if you see that we don't have 50, tell your friends!

Here are the instructions:

1.) In the new Styling Studio, dress my Medoll up. Click here to go there. I picked funky, bright colored clothes because it's what TSC is all about!

2.) Save it in your album. Remember to actually put the dolls in your album, because just saving them won't put them on the pages of your album!

3.) In the comments section of this post, please put your Stardoll username and the page your is not compledress-up is on.

Hello TSC Reader/Fan! Please make sure you read this following article, because I guarantee that you WILL NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS.

What's the big deal, you ask?

Oh, just a yearly contest I developed for TSC where you have a chance to win a
SUPERSTAR MEMBERSHIP, A GUEST ARTICLE ON THE BLOG, AND A MANAGER POSITION FOR THE CLUB DEDICATED TO TSC.

Do you need to be rushed to the emergency room yet? I sure hope not, because you'll also want to read how it's going to work! Below is what I wrote on my club, TSC-Blog's, presentation. Since it pretty much sums up the details of the contest, you'll probably want to read about it! With the dandy 'copy and paste' tools, I bring to you..

Miss or Mr. TSC '09

This contest is going to be the shizz nizz. And before we discuss the competition, let me inform you ONE part of the prize. Superstar Membership. For a whole month. Are you fired up now?

Here's how it will work: There will be a series of mini contests where every time around, someone(s) will be eliminated. The last person standing will be crowned Miss or Mr. TSC '09, have a guest article on the blog, and of course..get Superstar membership! The contests will range anywhere from dressing up your Me-doll to inviting people to view the blog. But no fear, there will probably only be 5 mini contests, at the most.

For each mini contest, you will be given a deadline. If you fail to meet that deadline, you will be eliminated. No exceptions whatsoever! I don't mean to be harsh, but this is my money so it will be played by my rules - have no fear, darling, this contest will be easy and fun!

If you would like to participate, Here's how to start:

1.) Join the two clubs that are dedicated to the fans of TSC: my club, TSC-Blog, and Blonde_Bum101's club, TheStarScoop. (I am mainly asking you do this so you get info on this contest!)

Hot Buys Shirt: Who Wore It Best?

Wow. Seems as though this 'Who Wore It Best' column is becoming a trend! I personally think it's fun... :] Anyway, I promised my sister (shansd17) that if she found 2 other Stardollians wearing the Hot Buys Shirt (which made its first appearance last night), I'd feature her here on The Stardoll Chronicles. This time though, I'm going to be personally commenting on the outfits. Then it's up to you guys to determine who wore it best! :] Evelina_: I've always loved her sense of style. I liked how she used numerous Hot Buys to compose this lovely pink ensemble. It's a little 'Plain Jane' for my taste, but sometimes 'Plain Jane' can be good. Overall, I think her outfit is fantastic!

BombaLolita: Eh, I'm personally not a fan of the outfit she put together. I like to match, and clearly this is not matching. The boots are super cute, they just don't compliment the shirt well. However I do like how she paired the black jacket with a black skirt. :]

shansd17: I like it! I know she spent time on it, and that clearly shows. The skirt is a little too high and it makes it sort of look... weird. Boots would have complimented this outfit better. However I love the black thrown into the outfit and the accessories that were used.

The Case Of The Mysterious E-Mail

Today I logged into my Yahoo! e-mail account (the one I use for Stardoll), went to my inbox, and what do I see you ask? An e-mail from Stardoll informing me of the new stuff in the Starplaza that was released last week. It was sent Friday the 23rd, which is odd because the items that they posted in the e-mail had already been released in the Starplaza. Is this now a regular 'thing' that Stardoll will be doing? I have a better idea Stardoll, instead of wasting your time e-mailing us items that we already know have been released, why don't you fix the glitches that are strewn all over your website? That's a way to put it! :)

Rockin' The Trend- Edition #1

As promised by the ever so dandy January HB's list, the lovely bubble-skirt was released in the starplaza on January 21. Although it was released a mere three days ago, I've already caught many people wearing it.. or shall I say, ROCKIN' IT! I personally love the skirt, and consider it as a must-have item of the season. The fashion divas displayed in the animated photo above were selected to represent the beautiful batch of pixels, and each one of the three girlies were successful in their hunt for utter fabulousity!

The First Addition of '09!

No way Jose! [Accent on the e]. Haha! =] Have you guys checked out the Styling Studio? And no, not that Styling Studio where you put make-up and accessories on your doll, this one!. [Click one to visit]. I, myself am very impressed with this new (first '09) addition from Stardoll. It has me wondering, what's next on this site? What you can do is put clothes and shoes from your closet on hangars or your Medoll, pick a background, pick a name for your creation, save it, and other Stardollians can view it! And the coolest part is they can dress your Medoll up with the clothes and shoes from your closet that you put on the hangars! The downside to all this fun is that it is only available to non-superstars AND it costs a whoopin' 8 stardollars just to save! Just another way Stardoll plans to get more non-superstars to become superstars. Just like everything on Stardoll, there are always problems at the beginning of a new feature. I noticed that not all of my clothes are available. AND when I try to save it, it says I don't have Flashplayer9 or it's not working correctly. Then my whole Internet Explorer closes! :( However, I can dress up others' Medolls. Hopefully I can figure out this issue soon!

Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen

I hope I will never find the need to post another article like this, because I am not one to criticize others, but I really think this issue needs to be addressed. Over the past couple months, one of my best stardoll gal pals has taken on multiple identities. Her name, or what I assume to be her name, is Sammy. Sammy was one of the first people I met on our beloved website, and from the second I started talking to her via dollmail, I knew we were going to be fast friends! It turns out that I was right, indeed - she was bubbly, fun, totally unique, and everything you'd want in a best friend. Soon after the birth of The Stardoll Chronicles, Sammy started acting a little strange, and ultimately ended all communications that she had with me - she wouldn't reply to my messages for days on end, which was when I decided to remove her from my best friend list. Just recently, Sammy contacted me out of the blue - we picked up our relationship from where it left off, and after a few minutes of talking, she became my 'banana stealing hobo.' Everything was going extremely well for awhile, but that blessed time ended when Sammy declared her 'real' name to be Pixie. When I first read about this confession on her presentation, I didn't give it a second thought, and figured she just wanted to keep it real. During this time, Pixie/Sammy had been working down at The Star Dose for a few weeks - only a few days ago, Pixie decided to pull yet another confession out of thin air in the form of an article. In this article, Ashleigh - Pixie's best friend - stated that Pixie would be leaving stardoll for good. This 'confession' from her 'best friend' turned out to be a freakin' publicity stunt, like everything else Pixie has done during her history on stardoll. Although Pixie has apparently left stardoll for good, she was spotted on the site about a day ago.. but wait, she now goes by Samantha-Georiga! In response to everything I've just written in above, I type one little word:

It's one thing to give yourself a fake name for protection on the internet, but it's an entirely different story when you purposely pretend to be something/someone that you're not. So, my advice to anyone who is currently doing the same thing as Sammy/Pixie/Ashleigh/Samantha-Georiga:
BE YOURSELF, for the sake of everyone who believes in your lies.
I was glad to see that Samantha experienced a sudden wake-up call, though - if you read the only post in her Starblog, you will discover an intervention of sorts.

Only time will tell what the ravishing BBB has in store for stardollians, but she has already promised to be 'nastier and more ruthless than ever before,' so you can only imagine what her ever so devious brain is plotting..

As I was reading her first (and only) post, I couldn't help but notice that she had mentioned the very same people who are mentioned in this post: the Perez Hater, and Burn Book Bitch. Stardoll Weddings: Are You For-rizzle?!

It may just be a joke online, but in the real world, marriage is no joke whatsoever.

The dictionary describes marriage as "a relationship in which two people have pledged themselves to each other in the manner of a husband and wife."

Well, apparently, stardollians are having fun playing wedding.

Silly-ness is all it is. How did I find out that stardollians are now committing to each other, you ask?

Well, I heard TatCinderella married vnvi on Stardoll. Yupper doodles, you heard me loud and clear!

So, I decided to have a peek at TatCinderella's suite and guestbook, and I found a few interesting things:

1.) TatCinderella's Medoll was not wearing a ring.

Why?! Well because, after having a good peek around Tat's GB, I found that her and Alex (vnvi) divorced 30 minutes after the wedding because Alex got engaged to Arna (Arna-rut).

*GASP!* :]

2.) People started proposing/getting married in TatCinderella's GB! Most likely for fun, but I'm not so sure about this-

Sudden Conversion: Eternity To Edge!

As most of you socialites probably know, Mary Walkerson's account - writemarycat - experienced a total makeover sometime yesterday evening. Everything from her me-doll to her creative presentation was altered, and a disaster of sorts was left in the merciless hacker's path. However, this post was not written to blab about a previously hacked account - I actually wanted to share a message with you that seriously shifted Eternity magazine's nonexistent future!

Yes, it's true - Eternity magazine will not last for an eternity, after all! Don't let that somewhat depressing tidbit of information formulate a frown on your pretty little face, though, because the former 'E Team' has decided to create a new magazine..

From what I hear, this magazine is supposed to be kick-butt - mainly because of its amazing staff, which now includes..me! It has just dawned on me that I forgot to mention some pretty amazing news: about a week ago, Mary sent me a totally random invitation to join Eternity's staff as its newest journalist! Like any other sane person would, I hastily accepted the offer, and then hurriedly ran to the bathroom before I wet my pants!

At this very moment, about 20 people probably share the feelings that are expressed by the adorable little plush toy pasted above- however, before you furiously attack me for making you wait for days on end, I want to apologize for my absence! I apologize to all of the potential journalists, in particular, because I know that all of you guys are probably going to wet your pants with anxiety if I don't announce the finalists sometime soon. This being said, I have some bad news - because Hayley has mysteriously disappeared for a few days and has yet to return, I don't know the exact date that the finalists will be announced. If you were in my situation, I'm sure you would do the same thing - although the lovely Hayley told me several times to select the finalists without her, I can't muster enough courage to do it.. she is my co-worker, and she has every right to help select the new writer for The Stardoll Chronicles.

I'm Back! And With Photoshop!

It's so nice to be back in California! This morning I went surfing with my dad and uncle!

So yeah basically, that whole week I was gone I was moving. ): Which meant no internet! But I'm glad to say that I am back and ready to blog! And ready to blog with an extra little feature I managed to get from my uncle- PHOTOSHOP!

Once I learn how to use it (it might be awhile) :P I'll be ready to post some of my images on TSC! :D Are you as excited as I am?! (:

WARNING: Beware Of Utter Randomness!

Due to the fact that I am a generally random person, I've decided to share one of my many stardoll discoveries with all of you lovely readers in this post! You see, while I was pondering through the sceneries created by a fairly well-known stardollian, BeverlyHillsHei, I came across one scenery in particular that caught my eye..

If you look closely, you will see that the scenery was created sometime in 2006, by a person named 'RichBizatch'. Because this creation appears under BeverHillsHei's scenery list, it lead me to assume that at one point in time, she changed her username from the somewhat conceited-sounding RichBizatch to BeverlyHillsHei - good choice, eh?

Laziness Is A Crime, Indeed!

After finding the message above in my inbox and staring at the so-called 'exclusive' dress that is being advertised in the letter, it seems that the oh so slimey stardoll staff has done it again, folks. The very minute that I laid my eyes on the pixels pasted above, I immediately knew that I'd seen that dress somewhere before - in fact, if I remember correctly, it was one of the dresses that was featured in last month's annual sale. So, after a few minutes of snooping through the starbaazar, I found exactly what I was looking for.

As you can clearly see in the picture above, the stardoll staff has chosen to wander down the path of laziness once again, with the recreation of the festive, pink-ish party dress that appears on the left side of the photo. For the record, I plan to sue Callie for false advertising - in the letter I received from the staff, it clearly states that the dress is not sold in stores, but an exact replica of the dress appeared in the Starplaza about a month ago! You can count on seeing this headline featured on the cover of all the local newspapers sometime really soon:

Troubles To Last For An Eternity?

Judging by the outcome of previous events, I think it is pretty accurate to claim that the Eternity team has certainly suffered from some trust issues in the past. It all started back in November, while the Eternity team was vigorously preparing for the release of their December issue: during this time, one of the supposedly-loyal team members decided to sell the promo cover of Eternity's highly-anticipated 'reinvention' issue to a writer from yet another stardoll blog, Stardoll Sensations. At first, the traitor's identity was unknown, and suspicions were raised in the direction of two team members in particular: Dora and Fay. In fear of making the wrong assumptions about the true identity of the traitor, the Eternity team had no choice but to wait until the anonymous traitor decided to come forth, take responsibility for their actions, and accept the consequences. Only after a few hours of tension between the team members, the search for the traitor ended when Fayasi posted a follow-up article in which she declared that she was, in fact, the traitor. As it clearly states within the Eternity Team Contract, the pre-release of any E photographs without the team's consent results in being fired from the position in which you hold with the magazine itself. In other words, soon after Fayasi revealed to the public that she was the so-called traitor, she was fired from the magazine. Instead of cutting off Fayasi from anything related to Eternity, the lovely Mary Walkerson made one little mistake with a fatal click of the 'Send Message' button only a few days ago that lead to yet another dilemma. You see, while Mary was working out the kinks in some graphics for Eternity's January issue, she was debating between which one of two hairstyles she would use to further beautify the issue's covergirl, *rere*. Believing that Fay had changed, Mary sent her a picture that exposed who the Covergirl was, and a preview of the hairstyle that she would possibly wear. When Fay received this picture, she had to choose between two options: she could either expose the picture and spoil Eternity's surprise, or she could continue on her journey to rebuild the somewhat damaged trust that Mary and the Team currently have in her. I know it might be hard to believe (sarcasm, of course), but the tempted Fayasi decided to spoil E's hard work and publish the following spoiler on a stardoll blog:

Mary had the following things to say in response to being betrayed by Fayasi once again:

"Dear Fay. I just hate whores like you, you know? Don't try lying, with words: "It wasn't me", like last time, when you sold out even your BF - Dora to stay in the Team. I know it is you, cause only you had that photo, where I haven't cutted the hair-do till the end. ONLY YOU, bitch! If I would live near you, YOU, little 12-years old(Not 15, as you lie to everybody) girlie would have a hell life. Oh, and yeah, that second account you have (Don't try to tell me it isn't you) has oh-so-similar presentation as yours. Ouups, Spoiled FAY! Ciao, slut.
P.S. Sorry guys you musted to read my bad language, and etc, but you know - when I am mad - I am mad. So, really Sorry. "
As you can obviously see, Mary - along with most of the team- is disappointed by Fay's actions for the second time running.. shall we go for a third? Let's hope not.

Comparing Apples To Apples? Not This Time!

I know I haven't posted for a while, and I apologize, dearies: however, instead of having me ramble about how busy my life is, I'd rather fill you in on everything that occurred during my short absence! To officially begin my eventual 'parade of posts', I figured I would start with the daring actions completed by the ever so lovely - and now, scandalous - Steelone. As you can see in the picture to the left, Sarah is certainly embracing her 'wild side' with this creation- despite the fact that it has already been considered as a form of 'dolly porn', I personally like it! I feel that with the creation of this daring yet artsy photograph, Steelone bares all in a dominant yet playful manner. However, almost immediately after I glanced at the risky photograph made by the Queen - for the record, I don't worship her or anything stalker-ish like that, she used those exact words to describe herself in the picture - I couldn't help but to think of the ever so infamous banner created by Style_Magazine, during her oh so short attendance as a journalist on Britney's blog. Sudden Shift In Flight: YOUR Vote Is Wanted!

(This article contains important information for any person who hopes to become TSC's next journalist- please read the article entirely!)
As all of you hopeful journalists probably know, Hayley and I are seeking for the perfect person to snatch the currently vacant position as the next journalist for The Stardoll Chronicles. Almost immediately after Dora's unexpected departure, Hayley and I started making arrangements in order to fill her spot. At first, we were going to select a journalist from the pool of hopefuls the old-fashioned way, which involves having every applicant submit their article, and the most suitable person for the job will be chosen based on their level of skill. However, while we were working the possible kinks out of the whole shebang, we figured that we would go in an entirely different direction; one that involves giving you the ultimate power to choose our next journalist! This concept is all-new, totally original, and relatively easy to grasp; despite all of these things, I'm going to break it down for ya' anyways!

First, every applicant will submit their articles to me (Blonde_Bum101), where they will be judged by Hayley and me.
After carefully reviewing the articles, we will select no more than 3 compositions.
Shortly after notifying the lucky journalists, we will then devote an entire post to display their work, where they will be judged by whomever wants to take part in the event.
Once all of you lovely readers compare the articles written by every one of the potential journalists, you will submit your vote, hopefully supporting the person who you feel did the best job.
Naturally, the person who receives the most votes will become the next journalist for The Stardoll Chronicles!

Sounds easy enough, eh? Hayley and I feel that by choosing the next journalist in this manner, everyone can take part in the experience, rather than just having us routinely select the journalist ourselves. ATTENTION: From this point on, the majority of the text is directed towards the people who are hoping to become TSC's next journalist- in other words, if you aren't interested in working for The Stardoll Chronicles, you probably want to scadoodle right about now!
Okay, let's get back to business. First of all, I would like to congratulate and thank all of the people who are interested in working for TSC! I am uber impressed with the turn-out: 18 is a big number, all things considered! Secondly, I have received many messages asking about what topic you guys have to discuss in your writing samples, and I finally have an answer for you! You are required to write an article about the January Hotbuys; why did I choose this, you ask? Well, I feel that fashion is a universal topic, and nearly anyone can write about it. Anywho, the final deadline for submitting your article is:

No exceptions!
Just a few hints:
-For goodness sakes, please refrain from using that useless internet slang in your article! In other words, you will have to momentarily forget phrases like 'LOL' and 'JK'.
-Do not include endless smiley faces within your article- despite their cuteness, they can look uber tacky!
-Be creative while writing your article: if you haven't noticed, I am a sucker for snazzy adjectives and catchy phrases!
-At least pretend to be interested in your topic- I know clothing isn't the most interesting thing to write about, but try to use your imagination.

DKNY's Virtual Reinvention: Callie Finally Grew A Brain!

Although Callie and Co. didn't give stardollians much notice to rummage through the sale racks down at DKNY before they snatched it's availability away from us today, I can honestly declare that I am happy and a bit relieved to see the horrid collections vanish altogether. It seemed, to me anyway, like the staff had some overwhelming desire to hold on to past collections when it clearly wasn't necessary; I am certainly happy that they are giving the boutique the fresh update that it is so desperately longing for! With the release of so many other Real Brands nowadays, I think I would be somewhat accurate in assuming that most stardollians have lost interest in DKNY- I mean, you can never find the vintage collections in the starbazaar (If you do come across any DKNY clothing at all, it usually belongs to that wretched orange collection.. bleh!) and that DKNY itself has lost most of its popularity over time, probably due to the fact that stardoll hasn't released an updated collection in many months' time. Hopefully, when DKNY's metamorphosis is complete, it will completely dazzle the members of stardoll.com with its chic appearance fashionable clothing. For now, we can only hope that the recently-bonkers stardoll staff won't screw the pooch, yet again.
